Start with the End in Mind...
Your group will be responsible for researching the 8 planets in our Solar System. You will use the knowledge you gain to design a habitat that could support your life on another planet of your choice. Divide the work in a fair way and be sure each group member contributes. Use the data collection organizer in your research (downloadable below). Your habitat design must address all of the obstacles you might encounter in the alien environment. ie, What will you do about food, breathing, shelter, and entertainment? Keep in mind that you will present your final design product to the class, so it must be thoughtfully designed and representative of your very best work. There will also be a quiz at the end to formally check your understanding of the Solar System.
